The Long Overdue Post, Part Two

View of London From Eastcomb Av View of London From Eastcomb Av
The view into London from the top of the hill I've been staying on. Just near Greenwich Park, site of the Prime Meridian and the place where many of the royals are born, including Henry VIII.

Shoppes in Blackheath Shoppes in Blackheath
Just a few of the Shoppes in Blackheath. Each small township, or borough in London has a small strip of stores like this, along with a butcher and a pub.

The Crown Pub of Blackheath The Crown Pub of Blackheath
The pub I spend my evenings in, reading Les Liasons dangereuses. If it looks a bit familiar, its because its the same family of pub featured in Hot Fuzz.

First view of Trafalgar Square First view of Trafalgar Square
One of the many statues and fountains in Trafalar Square.

The Fountain at Trafalgar Square The Fountain at Trafalgar Square
Isn't it Beautiful? I always feel cheated if I can't swim in fountains, perhaps that's how I'll be arrested. Who knows?

More At Trafalgar Square More At Trafalgar Square
Just more of the same monument. Seeing people trying to climb the giant Lions is pretty fun, though.

Another view of the Square Another view of the Square
A view of the square and the landscape beyond it.

The National Museum The National Museum
This museum houses an amazing collection of artwork dating back to the 1600s! I actually got to see Van Gogh paintings, and they were just beautiful. Then, in the gift shop, they have Van Gogh plushes with detatchable ears. How delightfully inappropriate!

The Crypt at St. Martin's Church The Crypt at St. Martin's Church
I had high tea at St. Martin's Church, in their crypt! It was underground, and the floor was paved with headstones. It was beautiful, but a little creepy.

The Crypt, second view The Crypt, second view
After tea, they dimmed the lights and lit candles on each table. It was dark and romantic, but still pretty effing creepy.

A huge park, surrounded by fountains and rose bushes, while out with my good friend metamistress

You went to the pub from Hot Fuzz? ! That is fucking cool... Now if you go to the one from Shaun of the Dead that would be even better. Did you do something different with your hair? It looks shorter.
